WHAT IS PRENATAL YOGA?

Our prenatal yoga classes are appropriate for all stages of pregnancy. Yoga is a perfect way to restore and relax at all stages of motherhood and to prepare your body and mind for childbirth. Our yoga for pregnancy classes offer a one-hour combination of strengthening and stretching. You will learn effective breathing techniques, pelvic floor exercises, fetal positioning for labor, hip openers, as well as postures to release tension in the neck, shoulders, and back. This is a wonderful way to connect with yourself and your baby for the journey that lies ahead! No previous yoga experience is necessary to participate in yoga classes for pregnancy.

WHAT IS POSTNATAL YOGA?

A great way for mothers to support the body’s recovery after birth using postures that strengthen the back, abdominal, and pelvic floor muscles. Breathing techniques and meditation are a great way to decrease stress and promote relaxation. Rejuvenate the mind and connect with other new mothers in a supportive environment! Appropriate to begin four to six weeks postpartum. No previous yoga experience necessary for either our postnatal or prenatal yoga classes.

BABY & ME: PRECRAWLERS

In this class we will do poses for parents as well as bonding, development, interaction, and massage for baby. It’s the perfect way to celebrate the bond between you and your baby and at the same time learn useful techniques. Nursing, changing diapers and communicating with your child are all acceptable!
Suitable for caretakers with pre-crawling babies. Recommended for women who are at least 4 weeks postpartum or cleared by their doctors.
