PARKING:

Garage: We recommend using the The Market Square Garage located underneath Town Hall at 108 N. Fairfax Street. Parking is only $5 all day on Saturdays and Sundays, $5 all evening during the week after 5 p.m., and $2.50 per hour or $10 all day during the week before 5 p.m.

Street: Metered parking is available on most streets in the blocks surrounding the studio. Hours vary. Meters accept credit cards and coins at a cost of $1.75/hour. It is generally free after 9 p.m. and on Sundays and holidays. Free street parking is located just off King Street (north of Cameron Street or south of Duke Street) and is generally limited to 2-3 hours.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

King Street Trolley (FREE): The free, DASH-operated trolley transports riders between the King Street Metrorail station and the Potomac River waterfront. The trolley runs every day from 11:30 a.m. to 10:15 p.m. (every 15-20 minutes). For more information call (703-746-DASH) or visit the Dash Website.

Walking from Metro: From the King Street Metro (Blue/Yellow lines), walk 1 mile (20 minutes) east, toward the waterfront. Facing the water, we are located on the right side of King Street, between South Lee Street and South Union Street (above The Creamery ice cream shop)

Capital Bike Share: There are two Capital Bike Share stations located within blocks of the studio: 1. Prince Street & Union Street 2. Market Square/King Street & Royal Street (For more information visit the Capital Bike Share website.)
